In the framework of the ABP Programme, the KÖVET Association collects measures, projects and investments that are environmentally and economically advantageous. Through case studies, it shows that spending on environmental protection is not 'money thrown out the window', but can also be financially beneficial and give environmentally-conscious businesses and organisations economic benefits.

Following an expression of interest, companies can submit their case studies that are evaluated by an expert jury. The submitted case studies are also audited on the premises. The best case studies receive the Environmental Savings Prize and promotion, and they are stored in a specific database.
