Base IMPACTS is the official database of the French programme for environmental labeling of consumer goods. It has been built in parallel with the Product Category Rules (PCRs) of the 'ADEME platform'.

It provides information, guides, tools, and datasets for assessing the environmental impact of products. Inventory datasets provided by Base IMPACTS include impact indicators following the Life Cycle Analysis approach, as recommended by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (ILCD Handbook).

These datasets were either bought from partners, Thinkstep (formerly PE international) and Cycleco, or co-produced as a result of specific programmess (Agribalyse, ACYVIA, WEEE, etc.).
