In Denmark, there are three support programmes for 'green' development and demonstration projects:

• The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme (EUDP)
• The Green Development and Demonstration Programme (GUDP)
• The Danish Eco-Innovation Programme (MUDP)

MUDP is a public-funded scheme with a general focus on water, climate change adaptation, circular economy and recycling of waste, cleaner air, noise pollution, hazardous chemicals, industrial environmental performance, and ecological and sustainable construction.

The budget in 2018 is approximately 86 million. DKK (€ 11m).
