On the basis of long-term arrangement with the German Development Bank (KfW), SID Bank funds SME projects that fall into one of the following categories:

• Development of knowledge society and innovative entrepreneurship (RRI, education)
• Development of environmentally friendly society and production (environmental protection, efficient use of energy, renewable energy sources, green production or product)
• The development of a competitive economy and internationalisation (SMEs, internationalisation)
• Regional and social development (telecommunication, transport, sports, cultural, health, tourism and other infrastructure, in particular those contributing to regional development, except for residential construction or renovation)

Funds can be financed up to 85 % of the value of the project. The maximum value of the loan is € 3 million.
