Support funds for natural gas cogeneration are available to all companies and other entrepreneurial organisations. Highly efficient combined heat and power plants based on natural or liquid gas for the combined generation of electricity and heat are eligible for funding. The heat produced should cover existing heat demand up to 100kW and the electricity produced must predominantly be used internally.

Examples of eligible plants (parts): combined heat and power plants (units) including hydraulic integration, exhaust gas purification system, and electrical installation buffers. In addition to the plant, planning and installation are also recognised as eligible costs.
