The Catalan packaging sector, in particular, has quantified a loss of -0.96% of its total turnover, from € 9.469M obtained by the 723 companies in the field in 2019 to € 9.138M (-€ 331M) In 2020, figures that reflect, although a decrease, the stability of a sector that is consolidated as one of the fundamentals for the sustainable development of the economy and society.
In the following session, the Packaging Cluster will present not only the latest results obtained in the study carried out on the impact of covid in the packaging sector, but also the new service aimed at its associates and all professionals interested in being up-to-date with the news of the world of the packaging: the Observatory of Packaging.
A new service that allows you to quickly and easily find value-added and segmented information on the packaging sector. It is a platform where you can discover the latest trends in the sector, news, current affairs, market reports and much more.
The cluster launches this new service with the aim of being able to accompany companies to improve their competitiveness, with a database of more than 5,000 sources from which to obtain key information and other databases such as Euromonitor or the SABI, where to obtain current market data and being able to make personalized reports by the members of the entity.
