About the POLREC Project

POLREC is a collaborative project involving five European clusters: Polymeris (coordinator), CENTIMFE, Cluster Mav, Wirtschaftsförderung Raum Heilbronn, and Plast Center Danmark/DMN. The project is dedicated to aiding SMEs in recycling high and low-value polymer waste, developing value-chain interlinkages with other European SMEs, and seizing international business opportunities related to polymer recycling. Over three years, POLREC plans to support up to 250 SMEs through financial assistance and specialized services. These services aim to encourage the adoption of recycling technologies, train SMEs' workforces in new technologies, and enable participation in international trade fairs and matchmaking events.
