The Scheme aims to provide subsidies in order to promote the deep energy renovation of existing buildings of SMEs. This purpose can be achieved by providing non-repayable financial aid during a first Call for Proposals. Two types of investments are eligible for receiving a subsidy:

1. Deep energy renovation of existing buildings for achieving at least B class of the Energy Performance Certificate or energy savings at least 40% in comparison with the total energy consumption of the building before upgrading.
2. Deep energy renovation of existing buildings to be upgraded to nearly zero energy buildings, as defined in the relevant Ministerial Order under the laws that regulate Energy Performance of Buildings. The percentage of subsidies on the total investment cost that could be granted to beneficiaries who are eligible to apply to the Scheme.

The total budget is €8,7 mil and the maximum amount of grant is € 200.000 per SME.
