Sinotaic - Polish AI & IoT Cluster, as the leader of the EDIH Smart Secure Cities, invites you to participate in the International Workshop "Smart Cities and Smart Regions" organized by the European Digital Innovation Hub Saxony (EDIH Saxony). The event will take place on November 13, 2023, at 14:30 in the prestigious HYPERION Hotel Dresden am Schloss, located in the heart of Dresden.

The workshops, organized by Saxony Trade & Invest (WFS) on behalf of the European Digital Innovation Hub Saxony (EDIH Saxony), aim to showcase and discuss the latest trends and innovative solutions in the field of Smart Cities and Smart Regions. In developing these concepts, we focus on challenges related to limited resources, energy efficiency, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
The workshops will be conducted in three languages: German, Czech, and Polish, allowing participants the opportunity for free communication and idea exchange. The target audience includes small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, cities and municipalities, as well as academic and research institutions.
Key workshop topics include:
• Energy efficiency: minimizing energy consumption in public administration through advanced technologies and solutions.
• Strategies for artificial intelligence solutions in small and medium-sized cities.
• Cybersecurity solutions for cities and municipalities.
The workshop objectives are:
• Presentation and discussion of current trends in smart city solutions.
• Introduction of specific digital solutions for public administration developed by regional SMEs and startups.
• Presentation of implemented solutions and planned investments and challenges faced by city and municipality representatives.
• Presentation of offerings from European Digital Innovation Hubs.
• Information exchange on collaboration opportunities between companies and cities or municipalities in the field of smart city solutions.
