A national operational programme financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and operated by Ministry of Economic Development. The main objective of the programme is to boost innovation in the Polish economy primarily by increasing expenditure on R&D and innovation by businesses.

The programme consists of five priority areas:

• Support for business R&D
• Support for the environment and capacity of enterprise for R&D&I activity
• Support for innovation in enterprises
• Increasing the research potential
• Technical assistance

Budget: € 8 613 929 014 for the period 2014-2020.

Resource efficiency measures can be funded, in particular, from Priority axis III Support for innovation in enterprises, which supports SME projects that involve implementation of technological innovations.
