Marek Przeor, at that time DG REGIO, European Commission, gave the European Alliance Against Coronavirus an overview of the changes in funding with regard to the COVID-19 crisis. The new guidelines provide more flexibilities to use the funding for a variety of solutions for the crisis. See his presentation here:
