One of the most promising markets for flexible and printable electronics is the sensor sector. Automotive and healthcare, in particular, are excellent markets for flexible sensors. A lot of businesses are already succeeding in these areas.
“As electronics become smaller and more compact, the demand for compression force sensing in confined spaces grows. Flexible, printable sensors are critical to achieving this,” said Ed Haidar, product manager for Tekscan's Embedded Sensing Division and an applications engineer.
