And, to help inspire potential applicants with different takes on social innovation in the context of sustainable fashion and to provide additional guidance with regards to the application process, the organizers are arranging a series of four webinars with leading experts in the field of sustainable fashion. The first two are now confirmed, with other two more webinars planned to take place before the application deadline (March 4th):
Reimagine the lifecycle of clothes with Nin Castle of Reverse Resources
Monday 10th February, 11:00 CET
The first webinar will take place on Monday 10th February at 11am CET. Entitled: Reimagine the lifecycle of clothes, it will be led by Nin Castle, Co-Founder & lead of recycling and remanufacturing at Reverse Resources; a circular waste
platform whose aim is to redefine waste as a resource. Nin will look at where the fashion industry is right now, what types of change and transitions need to occur, and emerging solutions. The session will end with an opportunity for Q&A.

Reimagine the power of the consumer with designer Marina Spadafora
Friday February 14th, 11:00 CET
The second webinar in the series will take place on Friday February 14th at 11am CET. Entitled: Reimagine the power of the consumer, this session will be led by Marina Spadafora, a designer known worldwide for her experimental and sophisticated knitwear brand with boutiques in Milan and Florence and whose personal motto is “Fashion with a Mission”. Marina will explore topics around sustainable fashion, including growth through fashion in emerging economies, ethical fashion and the wider market, fair trade and its meaning for the market and how to move forward and how best to support new sustainable fashion initiatives.
