The Packaging Clúster, representative of the packaging and packaging sector in Catalonia, participates in the new edition of the Hispack fair, which will take place until May 10, with a collaborative stand shared with the associates Bobst, EC Convert, Fakolith , Icon, Lütze, RepaQ, Grup Cooperative TEB, Trading Films and Mago.

In the entity's space, the main novelties of the companies are exhibited: Bobst, the leading Swiss manufacturer of machinery for labels, packaging and cardboard; EC Convert, the construction company of machinery for conversion, specialized in improving industrial processes to increase productivity, save energy and reduce waste by promoting sustainability in packaging; Fakolith, German manufacturer with 60 years of experience in food coatings for sustainable packaging; Icon, the consultancy with more than twenty years of experience in custom software development; Lütze, the leading family company in industrial automation with more than sixty years of experience in innovative and technological solutions; RepaQ, the container and packaging consultancy specializing in sustainability, food safety and operational excellence; the TEB Cooperative Group, the social enterprise that offers packaging and handling services for various sectors; Trading Films, distributor of thermoplastic polymers for flexible packaging, industry, graphic arts and labels, with cutting and microperforation services; and Mago, the expert consultancy in industrial automation, which provides customized solutions to optimize workflows and increase productivity and flexibility in industry.

In addition to being present at the fair, the Packaging Cluster is part of the extensive agenda organized by Hispack with the aim of promoting interaction between the attendees who participate in the event, and which includes visits, round tables and presentations .

In this sense, on Wednesday 8 May Núria Betriu, member of the Board of Directors of the Packaging Clúster and CEO of Pastisart, Àlex Brossa, Cluster Manager of the Packaging Clúster, Mireia Andreu, Innovation Manager of the Packaging Clúster, will participate in the presentation "Discovering the keys and trends that will shape the Packaging Sector in the coming years" in which the keys and trends that are shaping the future of the packaging sector will be explored. Through a comprehensive analysis of data and emerging trends, it will reveal how the packaging industry is evolving as it adapts to changing market demands and consumer preferences.

The round table "Innovation and trends in packaging in the cosmetics, perfumery and personal care sector" is scheduled for Thursday 9 May, in which experts and companies in the sector will share cases and experiences, and will explore the relationship between innovation and sustainability in design. The presentation will have the participation of Àlex Brossa, Cluster Manager of the Packaging Cluster; Mireia Andreu, Innovation Manager of the Packaging Cluster; and the companies associated with the entity: Industrias Plásticas Triana, S.A. and TEB Cooperative Group. Finally, on Friday 10 May, Àlex Brossa, Cluster Manager of the Packaging Cluster, will participate as moderator in the round table "Packaging as a lever for innovation and sustainability in the industrial sector".

Among these activities, the co-organization of a guided tour with the Retail Cluster to discover the best aspects of the fair accompanied by expert guides stands out. In this edition, the Cluster has included a podcast space located in front of its stand. In this space, interviews will be held with various collaborators, end customers and experts linked to the conferences that will be held in Pavilion 2 throughout the fair. Recorded episodes will be available for streaming via various podcast platforms such as Spotify. The cluster's participation in Hispack 2024 is part of the entity's strategy to generate international connections with leaders in the container and packaging industry. The objective is to promote the interaction of associates with other actors articulated within the value chain and to facilitate learning from the experiences shared in the Hispack space.

Hispack 2024: More than 800 exhibitors and 1,000 brands represented

The Hispack Fair, which will take place until May 10 at the Gran Via site of Fira de Barcelona, aims to strengthen the presence of its exhibitors both nationally and internationally, foster dialogue on the importance of packaging in sustainability and promote innovation in various industrial processes. With more than 80 networking and knowledge activities, complementing the participation of more than 800 exhibitors and 1,000 brands represented, the "Hispack Unboxing" space in Pavilion 2 stands out, where topics such as packaging design, sustainability and circular economy are addressed , along with advances in biodegradable, recycled packaging and new regulatory developments. Participating companies include renowned brands such as The Body Shop, Nestlé, Puig, Martiderm, among others, exhibiting their innovations and sustainable approaches to packaging.

Hispack also offers thematic routes ranging from creative and innovative materials to Industry 4.0 in the packaging sector, providing a comprehensive overview of current trends and developments. The fair structures its commercial offer in five main sectors, from machinery and packaging processes to solutions for logistics and branded packaging. In addition, Hispack's International Business Center (IBC) offers specific activities for foreign visitors, highlighting days dedicated to exploring opportunities in markets such as Morocco, Poland, Tunisia, Mexico and Japan, along with case presentations success of Spanish companies in the field of packaging.
