PIMAP4Sustainability is happy to present the innovation project SMART GLASS, issued from the collaboration between ALPhANOV, France and Biomimetic, Greece.
SMARTGLASS's goal is to offer an alternative sustainable laser-based surface-treatment solution for abrasion-resistant anti-reflective (ARAR) glass products towards EU-leading markets such as automotive and lighting. By exploiting the readiness of the latest innovations on Direct Laser Interference Patterning (DLIP) techniques, the alternative proposed by SMARTGLASS will drastically reduce waste, use of resources and energy, leading to a climate neutral and circular production.
