Indurec 4.0

The Indurec 4.0 project uses blockchain technology and systems to promote a true circular economy and modernize the plastic recycling sector towards the most efficient and sustainable processes.

This project, coordinated by the Container and Packaging Cluster of the Valencian Community, is supported by the 2023 Aid Plan aimed at innovative business groups of the General Directorate of Industry and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Government of Spain. It also has the participation of the AIMPLAS Technological Institute, as well as Blockchain Traceability (Trazable), Pérez Cerdá and the Packaging Cluster Association.

Within the project we have first been in charge of the technical coordination of the project in general and more specifically first in the part of investigating the transformation process to know what specific data to collect and later, once we collect it with the application, do a more intense analysis. to see possible improvements. Truly Traceable has developed its own software for managing traceability in the food industry. The idea with this project is to be able to adapt our software to plastic recycling, then know the entire life cycle at the traceability level of what the packaging is and focusing above all on the companies that participate in this project.

The Indurec 4.0 project is part of the line of business and intelligence solutions by developing software that allows monitoring and detecting the efficiency of processes and having traceability to open new opportunities for waste recovery. The innovation project, AIMPLAS' knowledge approach to the industry, in this case with Pérez Cerda, and in combination with new technologies such as that offered by Traceable, are crucial keys to success. And in this interconnection between actors, clusters have a very relevant role.

The Indurec 4.0 project is financed by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism through the support program for Innovative Business Groups (AEI), within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, with the aim of improving the competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses.
